Once the Zojila Tunnel is operational, tourism in Jammu & Kashmir will increase two to three times, claimed Union Minister for Road Transport and Highways Nitin Gadkari. This tunnel will provide year-round connectivity between the Kashmir Valley and Ladakh. The minister suggested that more adventure activities be set up in the state to attract tourists.
