About INR nine crore would be spent on constructing the heliport which will also give new impetus to tourism activities in Kangra. For its land transferred to the tourism department, a detailed project report will be ready shortly. Expansion of Kangra Airport is also currently in progress and more heliports are being proposed to come up.
