Thailand is geared to enhance travel demand from India, and Phuket will continue to be a destination of high interest with Indian travellers for 2023 as the country makes for the second largest source market after Malaysia. An official statement in March also mentioned that the Tourism Authority of Thailand will target up to two million Indian tourist in 2023.
