Airlines to mandatorily share int'l passenger data with Customs from April 1

From April 1, 2025, airlines must share foreign traveller details with Indian Customs, risking penalties for non-compliance. Registration with the National Customs Targeting Centre-Passenger is required by January 10, 2025. Information including contact details and travel itinerary must be shared 24 hours before flight departure to enhance risk analysis and interdiction.
