Uttar Pradesh is drafting a Heritage Tourism Policy to promote adaptive reuse of historic forts, palaces, and mansions. A recent conclave in Lucknow brought stakeholders together to refine the policy, which aims to revitalise heritage sites as experiential tourism destinations, drawing inspiration from Rajasthan's successful model.
