Air India Group has announced a phased expansion of fuel surcharges across its domestic and international routes following a sharp rise in aviation turbine fuel prices linked to geopolitical developments in the Gulf region. The surcharge, applicable to new bookings from 12 March 2026, will be implemented in phases across Air India and Air India Express flights to offset escalating operating costs.
