The Noida International Airport is expected to serve a wide catchment area across western Uttar Pradesh and neighbouring regions, including Delhi-NCR, Agra, Mathura, Meerut and parts of Haryana. The project is also seen as a strategic move to decongest Delhi’s Indira Gandhi International Airport by offering an alternative international gateway for North India.
