The consultation, held from 14–15 October, served as a platform to advance the “One State: One Global Destination” vision – a flagship initiative announced in the Union Budget 2025–26. The programme aims to develop at least one globally benchmarked tourist destination in every State and Union Territory, aligning with India’s broader Viksit Bharat roadmap.
