JLL reports 67% rise in India hotel investments to USD 567 million in 2025

India’s hotel investment market recorded a 67 per cent year-on-year increase in 2025, reaching USD 567 million across 28 transactions, according to JLL. Tier II and III cities accounted for 40 per cent of transaction volumes and 71 per cent of branded hotel signings, while institutional capital and private equity emerged as the largest investor category. Strong operational performance, greenfield development and infrastructure-led expansion continue to drive momentum across India’s hospitality sector.
